Happy Birthday Mommy!

I had a wonderful birthday weekend with Chris, Emma and Grammy.  On Saturday Chris took me to dinner at Citronelle.  It was nice to be out of my sweats and spit-up stained shirts and into a party dress and heels.  It was an amazing night with a delicious dinner.  Thank you Grammy Sue for watching Emma. 



On Sunday the four of us went for a long walk to Barracks Row and had breakfast.  It was a beautiful day. 

On Monday night, Chris and Sue cooked me dinner.  We had steak and crablegs.  After several attempts to put Emma down to sleep, we finally gave in and let her join us at the table.  She was quite the centerpiece.

2 Months Old

Emma is now 2 months old!  Its truly amazing how much she's grown and changed over the past month.  Emma can now hold her head up and focus.  She even likes to sit up like a big girl.  And she is now smiling all the time.  We love it!  Now that the weather is warming up, we are able to take her for walks to the park.  She really enjoys being in her stroller.

Grocery Shopping with Mommy

Emma experienced her first trip to the grocery store. Lucky for Mommy, she slept the entire time. With her carseat taking up most of the cart, there wasn't much room for groceries. I think next time I'll use the sling instead. Lesson learned!
