Happy Halloween!

Emma was a busy bee this Halloween.  In addition to the Spooky Baby Brunch, Emma went trick or treating with her friends, Ronan and Maeve.  Their parents, Allison and Joe, are good friends of ours who live a few blocks from us.  We decided to meet up at their house for pizza, and then head out from there.  This was the first year Chris and I experienced trick or treating on the Hill.  It's crazy out there!  We only went to a handful of houses, but by the time we got home, we were exhausted.  And so was Emma.  She fell asleep immediately. 

Emma's first Halloween was a success.  We can't wait for next year!  Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

We took Emma to a Pumpkin Patch in Burke, VA.  We were pleasantly surprised by all the activities for kids.   There were hay rides, pony rides, slides, moon walks, and lots of pumpkins.

Spooky Baby Brunch

Emma went to her first Halloween Party today.  The Spooky Baby Brunch was held at June's house just a few blocks from us.  All of the babies were ridiculously cute in their costumes.

South Carolina plays Tennessee this Saturday night.  In preparation for the game, Emma has been practicing her cheers all week.  Emma is ready for Game Day!  GO GAMECOCKS!

It's starting to get really chilly here in DC.  I took some pics of Emma and Meybory before their daily walk to the park.  Emma looked really cute all bundled up in her sweater, hat and mittens.

One of my sorority sisters, who is a professional photographer, just moved to Greenville from Atlanta.  Lucky for me she was available the weekend of my visit.  Her pictures are absolutely amazing.  She sent me this sneak preview of Emma's shoot.  I can't wait to see the rest!
