Santa!

Meybory, Ana Luisa (Meybory's mom), and I took Emma to the mall today to sit on Santa's lap.  I was a little worried that Emma would cry, but she didn't.  Instead she played with Santa's beard.  Santa was VERY sweet with her.  No one was in line behind us, so she sat with him for about 10 minutes while I picked out pictures.

This is what happens when you let Emma feed herself.  Once her hands are completely covered with food, she likes to play with her hair.

Arboretum

Last Friday was a gorgeous day and we took advantage of the weather.  We took Emma to the National Arboretum where we had a picnic.

10 Months Old

As of November 9th, Emma is 10 months old and she is officially crawling.  She took her first steps a couple weeks ago.  She will definitely be walking on her own in the next month.  Chris and I have been busy baby proofing the house.  Emma now says MaMa and DaDa, which is music to our ears.  We love it!  This kid is amazing.  She is such a happy, sweet and friendly baby. 
Emma got her second flu shot this month.  She was such a trooper.  She screamed at first, but she calmed down quickly.  While we were there, I managed to weigh Emma.  She now weighs 18lbs 5 oz.
