At the park with Mommy, Daddy and Meybory

Chris and I decided to surprise Emma at the park today.  We had to take advantage of the amazing weather (70 degrees in DC in February!)

Emma had the best time sliding down the slide.  The little girl next to her couldn't resist giving her a push.  Please note the bow in Emma's hair.  This does not happen often.  : )

Now, head first!

Emma looks up from The Economist, contemplating further Greek austerity measures.

In case you missed Chris's post on Facebook.....

Emma's Monkey

We really need to get this on video---Emma likes to run and tackle her monkey.  All we have to say is "go get that monkey" and she will take off and jump on top of it.  Sometimes she just falls or collapses on it.  It's hilarious.  We've asked her to do it so many times, that she will now just do it on her own...which is even funnier.

"Hey Emma.....

....go get that monkey!"

Keys

For whatever reason, Emma likes to wear this set of Meybory's keys around her neck.  She has them on every day at all times.  She wears them to the park, around the house, and even in between bath and bedtime.  Here are a couple pics of Em with the keys.

She clearly was not happy with me here.

Love this face.  Ha!

She also loves Mommy's blackberry.

Hugs and Kisses

Emma is one affectionate baby.  On Facetime, she will kiss the Ipad. And with some of her books, she will kiss the baby or animal on every page.  It's pretty darn adorable.

She also loves to hug and kiss every kid she comes across (whether they like it or not).  Lucky for Em, this little boy is a hugger too!

Valentine's Day

I took these pictures of Em on Valentine's Day.

And here's a couple videos...

Daddy's Little Helper

Emma really likes to help load and unload the dishwasher.  In fact, she gets really excited if she sees me open it.  She will stop whatever she is doing and run into the kitchen.  She loves to take out the silverware and hand it to us.  She is such a great helper.  I hope her fondness for dishes continues into her teen years.  : )

MIA

I feel really bad that my last post was over a month ago.  Most of you know that I've been extremely busy planning a conference for my client.  Well, the conference was held last week in Las Vegas, and now my life can go back to normal.  I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was to be away from my family for five whole days.  Thank you Chris and Sue for taking such great care of Emma.

Here are a few pics from my trip....

Snapper at Nobu (this is my new favorite restaurant...Amazing!)

View from Ghostbar (at the top of the Palms Casino)

I really need to catch up on my blogging. I've got tons of pictures and videos. You won't believe how much Emma has grown.
