Booz Allen Day at Kings Dominion

In early September, the three of us spent the day at Kings Dominion.  My company rents the park each year for our annual picnic.  We were excited that Emma was old enough to ride some rides.  She especially loved the cars and the swings. 

 

Chris and I took Emma into this kiddie haunted house.  BIG MISTAKE! 

It was all smiles at first....

 

This was the point we should have turned around and left....but we thought she could handle it. 

We learned our lesson.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend with our friends at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia.  We stayed at a beautiful cabin (The Ponderosa) right on the water.  It was so great to see our friends and catch up.  My sisters, Jacqueline and Jessica, were able to join us too.  They were a huge help with the kids. Emma had the best time playing with Virginia and Elsa.
